The majestic profile of Bunya Pines can be seen in the skylines of our urban places and rural towns. The sight instantly transports me to the cool shaded forests of the Bunya Mountains. Pin(e)ing is a body of works on paper concerned with the way urban Bunya Pines fill me with the sense of longing for their wild and natural habitat.
This exhibition is supported by a beautiful catalogue – Pine. The catalogue contains a review by Louise Martin-Chew and covers key works from my last three solo exhibitions.
